Today Jack, Charlie and I went on a hike into the jungle in search of the cockpit. We were trying to find the transceiver in hopes of sending a distress call. While we were in the cockpit the pilot woke up! He scared me to death! He told Jack and I that we were 1000 miles off course when we crashed. The search party is not going to be able to find us. Then the monster came and shook the plane. Jack grabbed me as I was about to fall. He held me tight in his arms; for as scared as I was, I felt safe there. Then the monster grabbed the pilot and ripped him out of the broken window. Jack, Charlie, and I ran as fast as we could; I was in front and by the time I reached a safe hiding place I was all alone. I was so scared I yelled for Jack, but he didn’t respond. I didn’t know what to do so I counted to 5; 1-2-3-4-5 just like Jack said when he tried to overcome fear. It worked, I left my hiding place and I went back to find him. I found Charlie first, then the pilot, then Jack.
We came back to the beach just as a fight was breaking out. Walt and Michael found the handcuffs, my handcuffs. Sawyer thought they belonged to Sayid. He was beating him up. I fear for what they are going to do to me. They can’t find out! Especially Jack, I don’t know why…but I need him in my life right now. He gives me hope and that is something I haven’t felt for so long.
Later we went swimming. While we were swimming a wave knocked me into him. He aught me and held me in his arms for a second until we realized what had happened; then he let me go. I quickly turned so he wouldn’t see me blush. I don’t know why I even allow myself to think these thought. He could never feel anything for me…I’m just no good.
Sayid, fixed the transceiver. He asked me to go with him into the jungle to make it work. I told Jack, he wasn’t happy that I was going out there. He was removing the shrapnel from the Marshall and couldn’t come too. So Sayid, Sawyer, Charlie, Boone, Shannon, & I went. The only transmission we received was another out message. It’s been playing for 16 year…no one is ever coming for us! Then we had to camp in the jungle for the night. Oh, and just when you think things can’t get any crazier…Sawyer shot a Polar Bear! Yes, that’s right a Polar Bear! This place is crazy.
